… It is expected that the Nubian-Tennessee Stiff-legged cross, in another of its breeding programs and more widely

adopted elsewhere, will grow more rapidly for the first four months ….We find that for rapid growth in kids, the milk is

necessary.  It seems to be much more than a minor “maternal” factor.  The warning is:  If you lose the milk, you lose the

meat.
